Ian Emerson

Ian Emerson, a dedicated music educator, is currently pursuing a Music Education degree. With a strong background in performance and music education, Ian specializes in clarinet and saxophone, nurturing a positive learning environment that welcomes students of all abilities and skill levels.
He is passionate about music theory and composition, drawing inspiration from all genres of music. Ian’s time with various ensembles and leadership positions has shaped a unique approach to teaching that focuses on progress over perfection. Outside the classroom, Ian enjoys choreographing color guard routines, composing original music, and studying music theory. He also enjoys spreading his passion for music and serving the community through various volunteer services.
