Jesse Wells

Jesse is a passionate teacher, musician, and leader currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education at Arkansas Tech University, with graduation set for May of 2027. With a strong background in wind band , brass ensembles, orchestral studies, and jazz, Jesse specializes in low brass (trombone, euphonium, tuba), trumpet, string and electric bass—creating a safe, welcoming space where students can grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

 

Jesse is deeply committed to bringing a student centered, inclusive approach to his teachings that emphasizes confidence, creativity, and collaboration, Jesse draws inspiration from classical, orchestral, jazz, rock, and bluegrass. Their diverse experiences—including recording sessions, tuba section leader, drum major, All-State intercollegiate band, and officer roles in music organizations such as Tau Beta Sigma and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia,—have shaped a teaching style rooted in confidence, discipline, and a passion for music

 

Outside of the classroom, Jesse enjoys playing disc golf, going to the gym, and practicing his conducting. When not practicing or teaching, he find joy in going on walks, reading, and teaching himself composition. Jesse’s mission is to help students discover their own love for music, while teaching them the value of dedication, discipline, and work ethic.
